It's been a long warm summer but it's finally gone and we are once again ready to get some great music to you. During the summer we have started working with three great new artists. Everyday Mistakes (in cooperation with HaHa Fonogram), Riddarna and Katharina Nuttall. As always all in very different genres but all exceptionally good, as always. January 27th 2010 Pascal will unleash their third album "Orkanen närmar sig" (The hurricane is aproaching) but right here and now is the first single "Dansa" (Dance) displaying a rawer and dirtier sound, if that's even possible. [090923] New S K R I E T album - "Skriet" - out now!
It all started with a large floor tom, a guitar and a synthesizer. Isak Sundström (Pascal) and Jacob Frössén spent hours playing instrumental synth-boogie in an old attic. Then Isak started writing lyrics to some of the songs and S K R I E T (The Scream) was born. Fåglarna (The Birds) was the first single off their debut album and has been described as a mix between, soft-kraut pioneers, Harmonia and David Bowie's "Heroes". Non the less it is a great song and a this is a smashing debut album. You can buy it here.

Norma's new and epic single/EP "Children of The Sun" (19.56 min) shows off a rougher electronic and more organic side of their music. A truly superb song which manage to make you wanting more even if it is almost 20 minutes long. A true sign of greatness. It is time to welcome a new band into the Novoton family again. This time it is S K R I E T which is a collaboration between Isak Sundström (Pascal) and Jacob Frössén. They have just finished recording their debut album which is excpected to be released in August 2009. The first single " Fåglarna" (The Birds) will be released soon. While Antennas are in the middle of their European tour we take the opportunity to release the second single off "Feeling Feline Tonight" and it is "Youngbloods". Existensminimum's second album "OK boys" is a great piece of dayglo electronic pop. He wouldn't settle for less. Existensminimum continues to combine the darkest pop with the lightest melodies. Just in time for Antennas upcoming European tour their single "Lies" have made it to the top of the Austrian Indie Charts which is great. Hopefully it will stay there for a long time. Take some time to check out the cool video for Lies or download a iPod-version.

Hyper Plastic is a one-man band consisting of Rickard Johansson who used to play guitar and write songs for the Swedish indie band 'This Perfect Day' in the nineties. And here it is. The first single off Norma's debut album "Book of Norma" (which will be released November 10) is "Waste". It is a superb jem of art/kraut/postrock and the video for the track (made by the brilliant Johannes Helje) is every bit as good. A real treat for all into this kind of music. We have just sent these two releases to the pressing plant and also set the release dates. Antennas upcoming second album "Feeling Feline Tonight" will be released January 14, 2008. Single number two, "Youngbloods", will be out late october. Hyper Plastic (a new Novoton act) will debut with a 10" vinyl EP which will be released early november. [080208] Norma Art Gallery Opens On Internet
The basic idea of Norma has always been to make music that constructs scenes and landscapes. Worlds that are created, altered and torn down together with the listener. This exhibition consists of 22 frozen moments from these worlds and you´re now able to see the result of 22 amazing artists, who´ve made their personal interpretations of Normas debut-cd “1”. Norma is right now making the final recordings for an album wich is released in the autumn this year. Check out the Art Gallery here.
