NEJ is a trio from Stockholm, using two electric basses, a drum kit, the Finnish language and as many watts as possible to try to recreate what happens in Earth’s core.
NEJ’s music has been called post-punk but is what happens when the three members fight with each other for the control of the sound and is something totally different. It is an intense sound wave of dark power. A granite hard statement that life is a struggle and you can always fight back.
NEJ’s compositions are uncomplicated. They are used to get in touch with the primal, channeling frustrations and tell that you can not explain. It will never be the same.
NEJ consists of Mirella Hautala, Mimmi Skog and Björn Eriksson.
