While waiting (both Paper and Les Big Byrd) to record new albums, they decided to record a split single together. And since they have long liked each other’s music, it was only natural to record a cover of each other’s songs. Paper does a springy synthetic krautpunk version of Les Big Byrd’s ’Back to Bagarmossen’ and Les Big Byrd does a psych pop version of Paper’s ’Ideal Plane’ and you are struck by how natural it sounds, as if they wrote the song themselves. A wonderfully spring-scented single that should not be missed. The single is released in a limited edition on 7″ vinyl or digitally through all shops/services.
